Warja Lavater described this work as a standing page—a page that leaves the book and enters space. What begins as a flat printed sheet gradually unfolds into a sculptural object. Folding and unfolding are not simply a way of displaying the work; they are part of the work itself, extending the printed page into a spatial experience.
As the object opens, the abstract composition slowly reveals the words OUI and NON. Rather than presenting a simple opposition, the work invites a playful shift between image and language, certainty and ambiguity. Meaning is never fixed. It unfolds together with the object, through movement, perception and the viewer's own curiosity.
