This project represents the third collaboration with the editors following BUK – Construction and BUK Made of Concrete.

The construction methods of buildings are subject to rapid development, driven by sustainability requirements, new technical possibilities, material optimizations, or more efficient construction processes. The precise detailed analyses of 25 selected, current Swiss architectural projects make visible the often-hidden innovation of contemporary construction. Using isometric analysis drawings of the building envelope at a scale of 1:15 as well as a photo essay, five different construction methods are documented and intended to stimulate a deeper discussion of future developments.
